Awaken assisted living has been a blessing for our family , before awaken my dad was in a horrible rehab they treated him very poorly . Awaken not only helped bring his health back and better than it’s been in a long time , but they work with him one on one to help him improve every day . All of the nurses / staff are very kind from sending messages about your loved one or having holiday events and get togethers so your loved one gets to celebrate too ! It is a very clean place to live and they cook fresh food daily . I’ve never seen an assisted living this clean kind and friendly before . I would definitely recommend !!!!!!

Awaken has been taking wonderful care of my family member. We had some very bad experiences with several rehab facilities and were not wanting to repeat those experiences. I didn’t think any large assisted living would be any better. When I found out there was a home environment that provides such personal care to the residents, I couldn’t have been happier. I moved my mom into Awaken from a larger facility. I wanted her to be in a more intimate environment and to receive personalized care rather than just being another warm body to be dealt with. The admission part of the transition was painless and included an evaluation of my mom to be sure she was a good candidate for the private home care option. From the first day, the staff at Awaken have treated my mom like a queen. They learned her likes and needs and have adapted to her schedule rather than the other way around. They engage with mom in an upbeat way and treat her as a family member rather than a dementia patient . Moms' extensive physical needs are addressed promptly and professionally, and they are always willing to interact with me during my frequent visits. When I realized I could no longer care for my mom in my own home, I struggled with what type of environment would be best for her. I am relieved to have found Awaken Assisted Living.
